My super supervisors!

Hi everyone! I am currently sitting in a hotel room in Williamsburg, VA. In a few minutes we will be going to the fields for a walk through for tonight's game. I will be sitting on the sideline, because of my stupid bum knee :(. Anyway.... Katie and Todd are my supervisors at SHM. They have made me feel really comfortable here, and it surprises me how much trust/faith they have in me, and all of the other MA's. I really appreciate that I do not sit around all day making photo copies, because in five years I do not think knowing how to work a copy machine will get me very far. At first I may seem very shy, but I promise you, I am not. I guess you can say that I get nervous in front of authority, but as I stated in an earlier blog, that is a goal of mine that I want to get out of this experience - being able to communicate with high authority better.

I find it amazing that even though there are a million things going on at SHM every day, Katie and Todd always want to make sure I have something to do, and I am okay. In the future, I hope to become more familiar with all the plans and meetings that go on at SHM, and contribute more, and I hope that my supervisors continue to encourage me to take part in things. Also, I want them to feel comfortable knowing that when they give me an assignment, not only will I do it, but I will do it right. I know that I am just getting used to the company, so this is not only a hope for them, but also for myself. In a few weeks, I hope that I get assigned something, and all three of us know that I will do it on time, and 100% correct. Other than that, I just hope that my supervisors, other full timers, and my fellow MA's all treat each other with respect day in and day out. For some reason, I do not think that will ever be a problem. Thanks for a great three weeks. Time to get on another bus and venture out to William and Mary. Maybe on my voyage, something will come across my mind for the other post, and I will post later on today. See you all on Monday!
