It's only Monday and already everyone is jumping into full gear to respond to HM09 and its high demand... by tomorrow. So needless to say, it's a little hectic. Days like this make me realize the big picture: as my environment (SHM) is growing, I grow as well. Because there are so many things that need to be done, we've worked really hard to prioritize and delegate. These are the kind of skills that are essential to management in the workforce, and due to the success of HM09, I am getting a first-hand experience. Being in the middle of all this buzz, I am able to work on my own tasks and projects, which I love. It seems like when there are slow days, it's easier to get distracted (and for longer periods of time). However, when I always have something to do, it gives me more motivation to try and get everything done - and done right. That doesn't mean that everyday should be a busy day though...
So we have a lot of disappointing news to deliver to prospective attendees in the next upcoming weeks, but that's good news for us. :) Keep up the great work, everyone!
