Lesson Learned

The most important lesson I have learned here is that when working in collaborative environment, people's personal needs and attributes are far more important than their professional needs and attributes. I have learned a lot since I have been here, but it has been the people that I have gotten to know the best. I discovered this concept about midway through this experience. Everyone has indivdual needs, and working styles. It is a huge job as management to find a way to find balance. It is the amazing variety in character, that makes the SHM staff so special.
