Dear Katie and Todd –

Over the past six months, I have learned a lot about business life, personal life, and the balance needed to maintain the two. When it comes to business, I realized that it is not as bad as I thought. To be honest, I went to college and studied business because I did not have a passion for anything, and I knew that business was really broad. However, after six months in an office every day, I realized it is not just sitting at a desk, writing emails all day. I think that realizing I can see myself in the office as a grown business lady is the biggest goal I have achieved.

Katie, the biggest thing you have taught me while at SHM is definitely organization, and balance. You dabble in so many different topics, and still seem to remember everything, and are always on top of things. That is a quality that I need to learn, and the faster I pick up on it, the sooner I will be more successful. You have definitely shown me the right path to become successful. Thanks for also showing that there is more in life than work, and if you work hard… you can play hard too.

Todd, you have helped me realize who I am, and what I am capable of. You have trusted me with a lot of things, and really allowed me to gain a lot of exposure in the company. You definitely have helped me realize all of the little things I must change in order to be successful. Thanks for always caring about me personally, and realizing that lacrosse is my biggest passion right now… and letting me off the hook with doctors appointments, etc.

My favorite memory at SHM thus far, was meeting everyone. I have become so close with the MA’s that we can pretty much read each other’s minds. All of the full-timers have really cared about all of us, and I can honestly say that I am the only one out of all my friends that actually gained a relationship with their co-workers. Thanks everyone! :)
