The Average Brain Weighs 8 Pounds.. WHAT MOVIE??

The most valuable lesson I learned in the past 5-6 months was definitely learning to own my work. In the beginning of this process I felt that I needed to learn as much as I could in the six months I was here. I began to explore many different areas within the Marketing and Membership department and have been well on my way to achieving that goal. However, along the way I have come to learn that there is a lot more that goes into learning. As I took on more and more tasks it was hard to maintain a standard of how my work and efficiency was done. I think that now I realized I got a lot more than what I was looking before because not only do I have better time management skills, I know new limits I can reach and how to check myself on the quality of my work. One of the biggest things that surprised me (which I think is the biggest commonality among all the MA’s) is how all the little things we do are what count the most. Whether it be checking over something more than once before it is sent or making sure we check up on a project or person.. The little things are what make a difference in the quality of our work. This lesson has been gradually building up and I see it crystal clear now thanks to my supervisor who has really taught me much more than just this. I’m sure I can go on and on about other things that I have learned and other people who have helped me but I’m grateful to say that there are just WAY TOO MANY! I think I should just mention the three girls who have also been there with me along this ride and say that it would have been a completely different experience without you guys. Personally and professionally you girls are the pillars of my MA experience (haha) and I think that EMSAVINA will be what I always look back at when I think about my roots and where I started in this business world.
