i can't believe it is almost thanksgiving

1. Given that we have a 3 day work week, how are you managing your work load in three days as opposed to five?
As you will see by the time of this blog post - Staying later.

2. What are your plans for the upcoming holiday weekend/Black Friday? Does your family have a Thanksgiving tradition? Headed to my aunt/uncle/cousins house where the whole family will be. Oh there are Thanksgiving traditions…

• Tradition #1) One by one we go around the table and have to say what we are thankful for before we start eating.
• Tradition #2) Somehow got passed down to me this year – Is some sort of entertainment slash game… See up until this year this used to be grandmas job BUT she has kindly asked me to do the honors. She usually gives Chiclets (I looked it up http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiclets they have been around since 1906…grams is ADORABLE!) out to the winners of each game which is confusing because I haven’t seen them in a store for years. SO needless to say this should be interesting and I have a very high bar to live up to and I better come up with some pretty awesome prizes. Ideas are welcomed!

3. What is your favorite Turkey Day dish & why?
Mashed potatoes - they are the best.
