Argument is the worst sort of conversation

To answer Dettmer's question about how bad communication can destroy a positive work environment, I think the only way it would affect the environment is information getting misconstrued. When communication is minimal, it can tend to have the "whisper down the lane" affect. I've seen this far too many times, especially in CAB (the organization I'm a part of at school) and when information is misleading and wrong, people get bitter and resentful and blame the wrong people. There is never any single person to blame for bad communication. The only way to avoid it is to practice and learn better communication. Nobody wants a negative work environment, because the more negative it gets, the less employee satisfaction there is.
