Alex in Charge, of our Days and our Nights

Creating an effective and engaging piece from start to finish.
“The Artist is not a different kind of person, but every person is a different kind of artist”
-Eric Gill

In order for a department with a designer to be successful, there must be a collaborative effort from a variety of parties. Each party brings something to the table, whether it be providing engaging content, creating artwork, enhancing the piece with edits, or taking a piece from design file to printed product; Every gear must turn together.

Questions
What defines an effective piece?

What steps can you as an individual take in the creation of a piece in order to make it effective and successful? What steps can be taken as an entire department?

What could be done in a design piece that SHM has never done before? How would something like that benefit SHM?

Goals
Strengthen and streamline the design process from concept creation to finished product.

Empower each person to make every piece effective and leave them feeling satisfied with the final product.

Inspire both designers and non-designers to push the limits of what’s been done.
