How can bad communication destroy a positive work environment?
Bad communication can destroy a positive work environment in a lot of ways. The first way that I can think of is completing projects. If two people are working together on a project and have poor communication, how can the two complete the task or even know each other's progress? The poor communication between the two workers can overall affect the company and the atmosphere overall.
The next way that I can think of is, bad communication in turn means that nobody is willing to communicate with one another or share ideas. While being here at SHM I see the value of brainstorming at meetings and gathering ideas from people in different departments.
The last way that I think of "bad communication" is in a totally different sense--when two or more people can't get along with other co-workers. If these individuals can't work together, it influences how other people are going to approach them and do projects with them in turn creating a negative work environment.
