Run Forest Run..

After a long day at work, I can always count on a nap to make me happy. However, like Emily, I do tend to go to the gym after work. Now that I am starting to do sprints and agility with my rehab, I get really excited, and just envision myself out on the lax field again! Every day is another step towards being healthy again. The gym was like high school, if you will. When I was in high school, all I wanted to do was get out. Now that I am graduated, I would do anything to go back. Likewise, I hated working out for "fun" a few months ago, but once I got hurt, I would do anything to get back to the gym. Since I was unable to do it for so long, it is so exciting, and it really makes me happy when I get a faster time on my runs, because being hurt and getting back in shape is the WORST THING EVER. So now that I have been on the other side of the fence, and know what it feels like to be unactive for 4 months, I have realized that running and working out truly are some of my favorite things to do.
