1.) What did I do for Christmas?
This year was pretty monumental…it was my first Christmas ever! I went home with the bf to his Grandparents house in upstate NY. I even got a stocking and a bunch of presents! Along with the Christmas celebrations, I went snowboarding for the first time…epic fail. I probably won’t be getting back on a board any time in the near future. But, it was fun none the less! We also played Catch Phrase which is now my new favorite game. I recommend it to everyone. So overall, I’d say this was a very successful first Christmas!
2.) What are my resolutions, personally as well as professionally?
Along with Meredith, I also have been thinking of the past decade and what I was doing 10 years ago. Well, I was probably listening to the Backstreet Boys Millennium album and wishing Nick Carter was my boyfriend. Oh how times have changed.
I was never one to make serious resolutions and actually stick to them after January. But, this year it’s different. One of my biggest New Years’ resolutions is to train for the USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championship in April. We have a strict training schedule starting on January 4th and it doesn’t end until April 17th (race day). So, I basically have to stick to this resolution/training regimen to do well in the race. Other than that resolution, I just want to basically concentrate on living life to the fullest and gaining as many life experiences as possible. I watched the movie 21 last night…so my mind is full of awesome life experiences. I’m thinking about starting a life counting cards in Vegas and winning hundreds of thousands of dollars. I guess that can be considered a professional resolution?
I hope everyone has a fantastic New Years and 2010!
