Most embarrassing moment

My most embarrasing moment is definately all of those times I pull the door in instead of push it; Elaine always laughs at me for not following the directions. I've also spent 10 minutes looking for my ID on the elevator on my way up to work and then random "other" workers tell me to sign in to get to the 5th floor. I then have to tell them that I'm actually working here! Everyday brings something new but these are the little things that get me the most embarrased!

Embarrassing Moment

My most embarrassing moment was probably when I dropped Debra's fish tank on the floor while I was cleaning it. It fell off the counter and all the gravel went everywhere which took forever to clean up. Luckily the fish were not in the the tank but I still managed to make a mess that needed help fro other people cleaning up. Since then I have been very careful when cleaning the fish tank.

embarassment.

Well, my entire life could be summed up pretty easily as one very long, drawn out, extremely stressful, intermittent, fit of embarassment. I'm okay with it though.

My most embarassing moment at SHM happened pretty early. The end of our first week, during our "Creative Brief 101" session, I somehow managed to nearly ruin the meeting table in 'Phillies'. We were designing creative brief ideas for Leadership Academy, and my highly intelligent, newly employed self, didn't think to put anything underneth the paper I was using. I managed to cover a pretty large section of wood with colored PERMANENT marker stains. Great first impression, really. I then spent about an hour scrubbing the same piece of wood, and used almost an entire container of lysol wipes. The worst part was that Todd and Ashley were trying really hard not to look upset, but I could tell they weren't thrilled. I felt awful. I thought they were going to fire me on the spot! Thankfully, by the time it was almost 4:30, I managed to get all of the pink and purple streaks off of the table (: It's funny now, but at the time I wanted to go hide somewhere.

Obvious

It's pretty obvious that my most embarrassing moment was tap dancing infront of the whole staff! I made the mistake of letting TVD know I can tap dance lol. It wasn't that bad, but the floor in the hub was hard to dance on at times. The most embarrassing part about performing was that some of the staff thought I CHOOSE to do this. It also didn't help that I was being video taped! All in all it was a fun time.

Embarrassing

What's your funniest memory/most embarrassing moment since working at SHM?

The most embarrassing moment for me so far for me came in the first couple weeks I was here. Since this was pre-dual monitors, I used to bring my personal laptop to work. So one day after work, I had been downloading some music at my house. The next day I came into work and opened my laptop as usual to start my days work. Not knowing the application was still open, I continued to use my laptop, while my application continued to download music. However, I did not even realize it was opened and running, nor did I realize that the bandwidth for the entire office could barely handle a single GB file being downloaded. So, I had IT searching the whole office for a computer who was slowing the whole internet server. Eventually, Brett and Sean discovered the computer causing the internet to slow was a Mac. Granted I was one of three Macs throughout the entire office, it was pretty easy to locate me after that. And that's my embarrassing story.

Office Pranks

As most of you know, the funniest and most embarassing thing to happen to me at SHM was when my phone got put into the ceiling. For those that don't know, this is when various members of the staff (cough meredith cough) got Faizen to put my phone in the ceiling when I had left it at my desk. Upon returning to my cubicle, I had noticed it missing and, essentially, freaked out. Eventually, I had Michael call my phone and thats when I heard it above my cubicle. After several falled attempts to retrive my phone, Faizen got it out for me. Upon further investigation, I found that this was done, identically, to one of the staff members in the popular TV show "The Office" starring Steve Carell. Funny enough, the guy with the nickname Tuna in that show is the one who pulled the prank, not the one being pranked.

funny/embarassing

I may change my mind on this one later this week if I think of something better but...for now, my funniest memory was taking our Center holiday photo. It was really funny walking around in reindeer headbands, elf hats, santa outfit & menorah hat and having everyone walk by really confused about what we were doing. It was priceless seeing everyone's reactions. :) My most embarassing moment was then checking my email the next day to find that the picture was sent out to the whole staff...
